Common questions
Is 404.FM really free?
Yes. It's completely free, with no ads and no subscription. There's nothing to unlock and no account to create.
A station won't play or sounds broken.
Stations are run by independent broadcasters and occasionally go offline or change their stream. Try another station — if a favorite stays down for a while, the broadcaster may have stopped streaming. Checking your internet connection can help too.
How do I save a station?
Tap the heart on any playing station to save it. Your favorites stay on your device and are always one tap away.
Can I submit a station?
Please do — the station list is built by the community. Use our Submit a station form (or do it in the app, under About → Submit a station). Send the station name and stream URL; we review every submission and add the ones that fit.
I run a station: how do I get it added or removed?
To get it listed, send it through our Submit a station form — stations are added after a quick review. To have your station removed from 404.fm, email copyright@404fm.com with the station name and stream URL: we're committed to honoring valid requests promptly.
